Alpha Course
Everyone has questions about life. Big questions. Real questions that often go unanswered about God, faith, suffering, or the purpose of our lives.
The Alpha course is a place where people can ask these questions, delve into the issues, and most importantly—find answers.
The Alpha Course is an eight week introduction to the Christian faith.
The format is simple: we meet on Tuesday nights at 7 beginning Feb 7th. Each Alpha night begins with food and drinks. Then there is a short talk exploring some of the core components of Christianity, followed by discussion in small-groups…where no question is too big or small. We usually finish by 9. Near the end of the course there is also a day away which gives us the time and space needed to have some fun and go a bit deeper.
Topics include:
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
How can I have faith?
Why and how should I pray?
Why and how should I read the Bible?
What about suffering in the world?
