School of Transformation

Current students now have a page with schedule updates and other information, which you can access here.

The Goal:

Antioch School of Transformation is a discipleship and church-planting training school that will challenge you to embody the values of the Kingdom and prepare you to live a lifestyle of planting churches no matter your location or vocation. Upon completion of the school, graduates will be eligible to join or launch an AMI church plant. The school will involve both classroom teaching and practical experience, with an emphasis on community and discipleship.

The goal is that at the end of the school you would walk away transformed and equipped with skills you can use the rest of your life. These skills include:

  • Walking in freedom and godly character
  • Practicing the spiritual disciplines
  • Living in close and life-giving community
  • Reproducing disciples in both the workplace and church
  • Engaging other worldviews Biblically
  • Reproducing church planting movements

The Format:

The school will meet every Monday night from 17:30-22:00. Dinner will be provided as part of your tuition. This will usually be followed by worship, Bible study, teaching, discussion, and ministry. In addition, the school will meet one Thursday and one Saturday each month.

Thursday’s meetings will involve teachings and small-group discussion focused on leadership training and development. They will also include opportunities for practical ministry and leadership experience.

The Saturday sessions will vary in content and structure but will be focused on practical experience, such as going out into the city to serve or share Christ, or working through a workshop project. Field trips to sites of historical moves of God are also a possibility.

Additionally, there will be two mission trips that are part of your time in the school:

  • one weekend trip in the first half of the school
  • one 10-14 day trip, likely to another country, at the end of the school

School Requirements:

Much of the learning that takes place during the school actually happens outside the classroom. This is because we believe learning happens best by doing! Students are asked to participate in the following ways:

  • Be Involved: Consistent class attendance and participation in all discussion and outreach
  • Reading: Keep up with assigned readings and complete assignments on time
  • Evangelism: Share your faith regularly with those who donʼt know Jesus.
  • Discipleship: Mentor other believers in their growing faith.
  • The Gathering: Attend Antioch’s Sunday services regularly.
  • LifeGroup: Attend an ACC small group on a weekly basis.
  • Scripture Memory: Memorise assigned Bible verses weekly.
  • Exams: Pass exams offered during the year.
  • Service: Serve at ACC on a regular basis. Opportunities include: childrenʼs ministry, worship, LifeGroup leading, and others.
  • Mission: Participation in the schoolʼs mission trips

India Mission:

Antioch School of Transformation is going to Bangalore, India. We will spend a lot of our time working with children in an orphanage, providing a kids’ camp. We will also spend some time in other areas of the city doing creative outreach (drama, music). We are excited to see what God wants to do in and through us!

How you can help:

Our travel, accommodation and food costs total £900/each. We will do some fundraising together as a school, but we will still need support. If you would like to partner with us financially, please do one of the following:
